The composition of the team is essential to its success. Teams
need diversity to fill various roles and each team member needs to be
given expectations based on their role. The composition and size of a
team needs to be appropriate for the mission. Successful teams have
an engaged leader, subject matter experts, and a supporting cast of
other people who have skills that complement one another.
