The Million-Dollar Question:

What Is Your Career Thermostat Set For?

Like the thermostat on your wall, you are currently set at a specific

temperature. Unlike the thermostat on your wall, you are conditioned

for a certain level of success. Your character and belief systems are

essential parts of your ultimate career success. Certainly having superior

careering strategies is important, but without taking the time to learn

how your own mind and emotions work, you, like millions of others, can

get a job, but not your ideal career.

So who are you? What are your habits? What do you believe in? Can

you manage your fears? Are you deserving of a great career? Will you

take risks? Are you programmed for career success? Observe yourself

and your thoughts, fears, habits, actions, and lack of action. Study

yourself . . . that is the 1st step towards changing your career identity.

Success Tip:

Your career will grow only to the extent your mind does.

Let me begin by reminding you that you have a conscious mind and a

subconscious mind. You should be aware that whatever your conscious mind

wants, your subconscious mind will accept. It is not capable of an argument.

If your conscious mind commands your subconscious mind that you are not

deserving of a raise or promotion, your subconscious mind will work tirelessly to

make it true. Conversely, if you instill a positive thought that you truly deserve,

your subconscious mind will work to make that a reality.

A

ll of your internal dialogue and self-talk should be aimed at moving you

closer to the attainment of your life goals, including your career calling.
